We bill based on time or based on a project fee, depending on a client’s needs and the project at hand. Many of the clients that we have worked with for a while - often for ten years or more - know that we do good work fast, and so prefer the flexibility and transparency of time based billing. Others prefer the predictability of a project fee. Either way, we are obsessed with delivering great quality at a fair price to our clients.



Don’t be intimidated by the large number of Fortune 200 clients we have served (over 50) or the major projects we have done for them. We believe in partnering with our clients to determine the right scope to meet their objectives. Often this will means a project modest in scope and cost.



Your location should not be an obstacle to working with us. If we don’t have a consultant nearby, we will come to you. You’ll pick up the travel expense (modest and without a markup, of course), but we will only bill for travel time in circumstances where we agree it is the fair thing to do.



Our 100 years of combined experience in the fields of ethics, compliance and corporate responsibility means you don’t have to pay to train inexperienced consultants. And if we can’t offer the expertise you need, we’ll tell you and point to alternatives when we know of them.



Our approach is to help clients build capacity and expertise internally. No long term commitments required, no built in dependencies created.



We work with many companies you know, but you don’t see their names all over this website. Why? Much of our work is sensitive and confidential. We place a high priority on supporting our clients, and won’t use them for marketing purposes without their expressed approval.



If we know of any potential conflict of interest, we advise you immediately and fully to ensure an appropriate resolution. Our independent analysis and judgment sets us apart - we work very hard to protect that reputation.
