A pharmaceutical manufacturer was recreating its ethics and compliance Intranet page and wanted to include a feature with a video about a compliance topic and supplemental educational material. The web design put some limits on what could be launched or viewed from the web page.

We wrote and filmed a video about a current compliance issue and wanted to add a short interactive quiz that the user would complete after viewing the film. We also wanted to include a take away piece that highlighted the main points. The web design would not allow interactivity, but would permit PDF downloads. To meet the requirements, we dropped the quiz idea and settled on a downloadable Do’s and Don’ts document. We also discovered another document currently in the company files that would add even more information, so we asked that it be linked to the video page along with the Do’s and Don’ts.

Both the video and summary pieces were very well received. The company is planning to launch a new video periodically and create a learning library on their Intranet site where all the materials will be archived for others to use.
